Day Three Hundred and Sixty One.

I inevitably was up too late Monday so when I had to get up to drop my dog off at the groomers by 10am on Tuesday, I was exhausted. I managed to get her there in time, even with stopping to fuel up since my gas light went on halfway there. Afterwards I spent four hours walking around the mall trying to find some clothes. I was trying to keep an open mind and I ended up trying on a lot of things. I got a two new pairs of jeans, a new pair of dress pants, a skirt and three new tops. I'm a little nervous about the jeans because I got them from Express and even though the legs felt very comfortable and almost loose, the waste was a little big snug. In fact I was almost not going to buy them, especially when I realized I forgot my coupons, but the register women gave me an "online only" discount of $50. That was already on top of the fact that the jeans were buy 1 get 1 at $29.99. Plus, I had a gift card from my Birthday so it ended up only being $100, which is a steal since that store is so expensive! I'm still on my weight loss journey so hopefully it's not a big deal:)
Before I went home from the mall I ended up swinging by Kohl's because I know sometimes they have some cute dressier clothes. I was looking for a cute new outfit to wear to my bridal shower/engagement party this coming weekend. I found a skirt but I'm not sure if I'm going to wear it. It's more of a dressier, almost work appropriate skirt, but it was on sale and I need clothes that I can dress up in instead of always wearing pants. By the time I got home it was around 2pm and I had to pick my dog up at 4:30pm. I figured I would workout and then take a shower before picking her up. However, I started thinking about how I had to clean my house prior to this coming weekend so I spent the time doing that instead. I vacuumed my bedroom as well as between the couch cushions. I also cleaned the downstairs shower, organized the "shoe room" and did some organizing of papers. Before I knew it I had to get my dog and when we got back that's when I put a load of laundry in and took my shower.
I spent the rest of the evening on the phone with my Mother, followed by my fiancé and we finally booked our honeymoon! I'm very excited that it's all set because now I can scratch that off my to do list. My fiancé was supposed to be at my house last night but he got stuck in the city for work, so he couldn't come. I was very upset about that since I haven't seen him since Saturday and it was the only evening I have off this week to see him. We did spend a long time on the phone which sort of made up for it, but I would much rather him of been here.
I obviously did a lot of cleaning around the house yesterday and my hands look pretty dry. I'm glad I got a lot of the cleaning out the way though. I got a little panicky yesterday when I read the news and realized that the first case of Ebola was diagnosed in the U.S.A. Honestly, I knew it was coming so I wasn't that surprised but I sure hope that with our medical expertise we can stop it before it spreads like it has in Africa. It's simply devastating how many people have died there because there's not enough resources to treat everyone. It really saddens my heart thinking about it. Well, that's all I'll write for now.
