I had tentitive plans to go to breakfast with a co-worker yesterday morning but due to the icy weather, we had to cancel. When my boyfriend woke up he spent a long time breaking the ice off of the cars and I could not get to sleep during that time. Once he left for work I finally got back to sleep and didn't wake until 10:30am. I had a lot to get done when I
got up so I drank my coffee quick and signed up for a continuing education course coming up in May. Then I put a load of laundry in and got my shower out of the way. I thought I should balance my checkbook before left so I did that as well as bought my sisters Birthday present.
My boyfriend ended up working late which was okay because once he showed up I had just finished the laundry and packing. We got some road trip coffee and ran a couple errands before we headed to my Father's house. It was a good three hour car ride but it went by very fast. We did a refresher on the state capitals for almost an hour and a half. I can't believe how many of them I had forgotten! I remember learning the capitals when I was younger with my sisters:)
When we got to my Dad's he had ordered us pizza, wings, and a buffalo chicken calzone. It was sweet he got the calzone for me because he knows I love buffalo chicken:) It was delicious and we had a few beers as well. We spent a very long time visiting with my Dad until we went to bed around 2:15am. I'm so glad we were able to go see him and he seemed to appreciate it. I was a little nervous about my OCD but thought I did a good job suppressing it. I didn't even bust into my bar of soap because he had a nice bottle in the bathroom. Alright, until later!
