Day One Hundred and Sixty Eight.

    I decided not to write my blog yesterday because I was exhausted and felt I needed a break. I hate to complain because I brought this all on myself but blogging every single day can be quite the chore. For the most part I really enjoy doing it and I think it's helped me a lot, but some days it just becomes something I have to do, not something I want to do. Anyway, my morning was rushed yesterday because as soon as I got up I had to go to the car dealership so they could put the new hybrid battery in my car. They had previously told me it would take over three hours and that I should just drop it off, but the dealership is a good half an hour from my house so it's not convenient for anyone to help me out with that, so I just waited. The good news is that my boyfriend works close to there so he came and took me out to lunch.
    I was so upset because halfway to the dealership I realized I had forgotten my book so I was stuck reading magazines while I waited:( The time went by really fast though, I spent the first hour before my boyfriend showed up reading, then the second hour at lunch, then the last two hours reading. It took exactly four hours for them to replace the battery, I guess it's tricky. I am very lucky that the battery was still under warranty because it would have cost me a lot of money if it hadn't been. I was talking to the guy at the dealership and he said because the batteries on these vehicles were dying before they should have been, they had to extend the warranty. After the car was done I went to Target to stock up on soap, paper towels, soda, juice and some other items. When I finally got home it was a little bit before 5pm.
    My boyfriend showed up around 7pm which was fine because it gave me time to take a shower and fold laundry after I got home. We decided to go to one of our favorite local eateries for dinner, but we couldn't get a seat at first, so we ended up being there for a while. We didn't do much after we got home, I just watched some TV and while he fell asleep next to me. Yesterday was the first day of Lent and I decided to give up candy. I feel I have been eating way to much of it and I hope this will help me lose a few pounds. I also need to get back into exercising because when I'm working out I don't have to restrict what I eat as much. It's also a good way to focus my energy away from my OCD. I have already discussed with my boyfriend that once the weather gets nicer we should do more outdoor activities together. Alright, until later!
