I had a lot to accomplish this morning so I tried to get up right when my alarm rang around 10am. It's nearly impossible to get up any earlier since I don't usually get to bed until 2am during my evening week. I had a hard time sleeping last night because it was so cold in my bedroom. It's hard to believe that since two days prior I made my boyfriend put the air conditioner unit in because it was so hot! Anyway, I finally had to get up and put a sweat shirt on before I could fall asleep. When I got up this morning I had some blueberries and checked my email before putting a load of laundry in then taking a shower. After that I got myself ready then headed to the food store which seemed to take me forever for some reason.
I had just enough time when I got home to put the groceries away, take the trash out for garbage day and then give my dog a walk. I'm really glad that I managed to give my dog a walk because I know she's been wanting one and she seemed very happy. Work was a completely different ballpark tonight versus last night because it was much more calm. I actually was pretty much caught for the entire night so it ended up being a nice break for me. I also managed to get home around 11:30pm so that was good as well. I switched things up a little bit tonight, because I have so much to do tomorrow morning, so I decided to take a shower right when I got home. Then I folded the laundry I had washed earlier today so that's two less things I have to do tomorrow morning.
I ended up doing a lot of hand washing today and it's unfortunate because I actually made an appointment to get shellac nail polish applied tomorrow. I'm hoping that if I put cream on my hands before bed they will shape up prior to my appointment tomorrow. I'm kind of hoping that having the shellac on my nails might help me with not over washing my hands, but who knows. A co-worker of mine told me that the first night you need to be careful about not using a lot of water so this is definitely going to be a test for my OCD.
I'm feeling very stressed about the upcoming weekend prior to my vacation because I have a lot to get done and also because I'm still not feeling that great. My right upper quadrant pain is still bothering me and I'm still having a lot of nausea throughout the day. My primary care physician called today about some follow up tests she wants me to have but unfortunately it sounds like it's all going to have to wait until after my vacation. Maybe the vacation is just what I need to relax a little bit? I've been so stressed the past few weeks and I just think it will be good to get away from everything for a while. Alright, I better get some sleep.
Is shellac like a gel manicure? I have that and I love it! My nails look beautiful and never break and it lasts 2 weeks. I ate crabs with them and they still look perfect. Plus they are much safer and more sanitary I think because I never get a hangnail or catch them on anything. I hope you like them.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the follow up tests.
