Day Two Hundred and Thirty Eight.

I had another restless night of sleep last night which left me very tired all throughout the day. It was a fairly busy morning with a lot of problems but slowed down around lunch time. I really wanted to go to the Wednesday clinical meeting at 3pm so I was rushing around this afternoon to get everything cleaned up. Of course there was an issue around 2:30pm, but I still managed to get to the meeting on time. I got home a little bit after 4pm and ended up having a 45 minute phone conversation with a friend.
After that my boyfriend called to tell me he was going to be really late because he had to do some last minute traveling for work. I was disappointed because he had planned to come over again tonight, but I told him I'd rather just see him tomorrow if it meant I'd get to see him longer. Since I was caught up on the routine laundry I put the lighter spring/summer blanket, which I have on the spare bed, in the wash to get it ready for the transition. Then I took my shower and folded the laundry from the previous day.
The weather was still so nice after my shower and I knew my dog would appreciate a walk so I took her for one before dinner. She was very hot when we got back home but happy! I made myself a Lean Cuisine for dinner with a side salad. Once I was done with that I made the hotel room reservations for our trip to Chicago....no more looking at reviews at this point! I spent the rest of the night watching the Yankees/Mets game and that was pretty much it.
My hands are definitely in rough shape. I knew this week would be hard on them so I'm very glad I have one more day and then a three day weekend! My boyfriend and I still aren't sure what we're going to do but I'm certainly looking forward to it. He's leaning towards going to visit his parents in the city because this will be the last weekend they will have their apartment before they move. I'm a little frustrated because I don't need to go away another weekend and I thought he was going to go visit the apartment for the last time the last weekend I worked....which he didn't. If he really feels he has to go I don't want to talk him out of it, but it's not at the top of my "want to do" list for the weekend. Well see how it all pans out soon. Until next time:)
