Day Two Hundred and Seventy Four.

I had no problem getting to sleep Wednesday night which was good because I wanted to feel refreshed for the concert I was going to the next day. I got up and got myself to work a few minutes later than I should have. I blame it all on the shuttle bus system which takes us from the parking lot to the hospital. It's annoying because even when you get on it on time you have to wait until it gets filled up before they head off. I really should just walk some of these days but it all depends on the driver whether they will wait until the bus is completely full or not. Yesterday we had to wait forever, even though there were three shuttle buses behind us! Anyway, work was busy as expected but it went by pretty fast. I got a coffee around 8:45am and then I grabbed my lunch snacks around 1pm. I really wanted to get out on time but I ended up not leaving until around 4:30pm.
Once I got home I didn't have a lot of time to do anything because my second to oldest sister was going to be arriving around 6pm. I pretty much just got in the shower and got myself ready. It was hard finding something to wear because I wanted to wear something cute. I ended up wearing a pair of capri's with a sheer green Guess shirt over a black cami. When my sister got there I had just finished getting ready and she borrowed a pair of my shorts, then we were on our way. We ate at a restaurant literally 2 minutes from the venue and we took our time because we didn't have a lot of interest in the opening band. When we got to the venue we only had to wait about 30 minutes before The Gaslight Anthem started playing.
My second to oldest sister and I had seen them play last year and really loved it so I was excited that they were back. Actually I got way more into them this year, so I really enjoyed the show tremendously. They played almost every song I wanted to hear. After the show we decided to go to my favorite bar where I live and have a quick drink before going home. Yesterday I didn't have much time to obsessively wash my hands because I wasn't home much. I did have to use the public restroom at the restaurant and at the concert venue. It wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting. I have been going to this venue for several years and they have definitely upgraded the bathroom! Alright, until later.
