Yesterday was a great day! My boyfriend and I woke up a little bit after 10am and he ran some last minute errands for items we needed for the Birthday celebration, while I took a shower. I had just finished showering when my Mother showed up at my house. She was followed by my oldest sister with her husband, my Father, my second to oldest sister with her husband and finally my twin sister. Her husband had a lot on his plate this weekend and decided not to come. I cut up a cheese tray and put crackers out for everyone to nibble on before we all went outside and enjoyed the weather. My second to oldest sister brought Kan-Jam so we played that for most of the afternoon, which was a lot of fun.
My Mother made dinner which was one of my oldest sisters favorite dishes as a child, called creamy chicken and rice. We also had a salad on the side, both of which were delicious. Afterwards my sisters opened their presents, then we had cake and ice cream. I was very tired at the end of the night which is why I didn't get to writing my blog. I also ate and drank way too much because when I woke up this morning I had a very bad headache.
I ended up washing my hands way more than I should have yesterday because I was doing a lot of dish washing. It took me a while to clean up the kitchen but I wanted to do it so no one else had to worry about it. I'm very impressed with my nail polish because it doesn't have a chip yet. I'm hoping that I can get at least one day into Chicago with them still looking good! I'm actually going to take this time to say how nervous I am about going on vacation and keeping up with the blog. My boyfriend is bringing his Ipad so hopefully I will get to it most nights. I'm sorry if there's a day or two that are going to be really short. Alright, until later!
