My boyfriend woke up before me this morning because he fell asleep way before me last night. Once I got up my co-worker asked me if I'd still be interested in meeting her at the ice rink to help her daughter with skating. I knew that the rink I usually go to was closed today but I called the outside rink and they were open. We planned on meeting at 3:30pm. My boyfriend made us breakfast then he watched the rest of the movie from last night because he had fallen asleep during it. He didn't like it as much as I did.I folded laundry then we got ready to go to the rink.
I had never been to this rink but it is right downtown and free. My boyfriend rented skates and they were only $4. It was nice because they had just zambonied the ice when we got there. My co-worker arrived soon after we got there and I skated around with her daughter for about half an hour. After she got tired my boyfriend and I skated for a little longer before we headed out. We went to the store on the way home to get what we needed to make dinner as well as a few other meals for this week.
Tonight my boyfriend made us our annual Valentine buffalo chicken pizza for dinner. It was probably the best pizza he has ever made me! I've attached a picture. We decided not to make our own hot sauce tonight because the food store didn't have the best peppers so we will do that another time. We just watched the Olympics afterwards. This weekend went by so fast and I knew it would. I have a five day in a row work week ahead of me but I am not letting it get me down because I do have more time off coming up soon. I'm proud of how my hands look after this weekend but it's probably because I didn't do too much work. Alright until next time:)
