Day One Hundred and Fourty Four.

I woke up a little bit depressed today and I'm not exactly sure why. A lot of times when I work my weekend shift I guess I get a little lonely because it ends up being a lot of alone time for me outside of work. I usually don't mind because I do still like time to myself, but I'm just feeling a little vulnerable right now. I'm sure it has something to do with the recent interactions I've had with my boyfriend. It just seems like we've been slightly off the past couple of weeks and I hope it's just because we've both been sick. Anyway when I got up I did my usual routine of having coffee and breakfast. I decided to take the time this morning to balance my checkbook so I wouldn't have to do it tomorrow. I spent a lot of time this morning playing fetch with my dog all around the house. She had seemed very restless last night so I was trying to get her good and tired. I didn't end up doing a full workout today but I did do some Pilates exercises to try to warm my body back up to a full workout. I figure because I cleared my schedule tomorrow morning I should definitely have time to do a full workout in the morning.
Work wasn't as busy tonight as it was yesterday, but slowly got increasingly more busy as the night went on. I ended up getting Panera for dinner but I was very disappointed that they don't have my turkey power salad anymore:( I ended up getting the BBQ chicken salad which is very good, but I don't like it as much as I liked the turkey. We got our paperwork for our first summer vacation picks last week so that is something I'm going to have to start thinking about. It's always amazing to me that I have to plan my entire summer vacation schedule in February.
I was excited to come home tonight and watch the Olympics. It's been really difficult with the time difference to not catch spoilers all over the news. I've had to be careful what websites I look on because I'd like to be surprised by some of the results. As expected my hands are very dry and sore because I did a lot of washing this weekend at work. My face has also been very dry this last week as well. It's something which usually happens when I'm out in the cold for a while....it's almost a wind burn type reaction. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the snow shoveling I did last week. I've been trying to be good about putting face cream on so it clears up. Alright well that's all I've got for tonight.
