Day One Hundred and Sixty.

I had a very difficult day at work yesterday which left me until 1pm without my morning coffee which was disastrous. I guess the good thing about it was that the day went by really fast. Once I got out of work I headed right to the food store to get some last minute things for the sister dinner. I was thinking I was going to make a salad if I felt we needed it, but we actually had enough food, so I ended up not making one. I also stopped and picked up some wine for the evening. I still managed to get home a little bit after 4:30pm so that wasn't bad timing at all.
When I got home I put the groceries away and tried to clean up the backyard a little bit because there are a lot of messes from my dog out there. Unfortunately, they were all frozen to the ground so even with hot water I wasn't able to get that many of them up. I ended up burying the larger pieces, it was all very gross. Afterwards, I hopped in the shower then folded the laundry from the day before. Once I had finished everything I needed to get done my twin sister arrived....impeccable timing:)
My other two sisters arrived a little bit later with the shocker being that my second to oldest ended up arriving before my oldest sister. It's so surprising because she is usually the late one! All of the food was great, my twin sister made Venetian macaroni and cheese, my second to oldest sister made Asian infused crock pot chicken, and my oldster sister made beef pot pies plus fruit turnovers. There was also a lot of candy! With all of that delicious food I ended up eating a ton. Due to the fact that everyone brought a dish there really wasn't that much cleaning up to do which was nice because I felt like we spent a lot of time visiting together instead of cleaning. The last thing we ended up doing was discussing our top 10 favorite or lamest moments from the Olympics. I guess I dropped the ball because I was just going to do it out of memory but my oldest sister made a Power Point presentation, while my twin made Pinterest pages. Luckily my second to oldest sister forgot her post it note which had her list on it at work so I didn't feel so bad. Alright, until later:)
