Day One Hundred and Fifty Six.

This is a day late so I'll just talk about yesterday. My boyfriend had to leave the house early because he had to be in the city by 10am so he woke up at 4:45am to catch the train. It woke me up a little bit but I had no problem getting back to sleep, plus I managed to get up and get to work right on time, which was a good thing. The work day seemed to go by at a decent rate and I felt like I was accomplishing things. I stopped up to see my co-workers office area all decorated for her Birthday because after I dropped the flowers off last night her other friends at work took them, with other decorations they had bought, upstairs to decorate the area. It looked great and she was tickled that we spent so much time organizing the entire thing. The floor also gave her a lunch in so she felt super special. At the end of the day I didn't end up leaving work until around 4:30pm because I helped her take everything down and carry out all of what she had accumulated. She really seemed to like her present and she told me she would hang it on her window here and not in Maine.
My boyfriend had texted me that he had taken the early train so he would be home a little bit before 6pm so I had to move it once I got home. I wasted no time getting in the shower and folding the laundry from the day before. I was halfway done packing when he arrived and ultimately we ended up getting on the rode a little after 7pm. His Mother hadn't showered in a few days because she was basically cleaning her camp up for the final stages in the renovation project so instead of us going out to eat we picked up Chinese food and ate it there. I also got a bottle of wine:) She was so glad that we stopped by and brought her dinner because apparently she hadn't eaten much all week because it's such a pain to make food with the place in such a state.
We stayed there until around midnight and came back to my boyfriends house to go to sleep. It was a slightly hard being at the camp because it was quite a mess, but honestly it didn't bother me too much. The hardest part was not washing my hands before dinner but I used Purell. Actually two of the new bathrooms are completed so I could have went in there to wash my hands but I didn't want to make his Mom feel like I was uncomfortable in her house. The renovation is going to look amazing because what they have done so far is fantastic. It hardly looks like the old camp though....it's really going to be interesting how they finish the existing structure because I think it's still going to look very rustic compared to the new modern addition. That's the main problem my boyfriend and his Brother have with the whole project, that it's not going to be the camp they spent there whole lives going to. I think they just have to realize that this is their parent's retirement home and they want it to be nice, with everything a house should have. His Mom is also looking towards the future because she always alludes how she can't wait to have her Grandchildren in the house! Alright, that's it for now!
