Day One Hundred and Sixty Two.

I was tired when I got up today but happy that today was the last time I would have to get up early for about two weeks. After this week of the evening shift I have a week vacation, so that means a little break from the 5:45am alarm. I was planning for work to be a terrible day but honestly it wasn't that bad. There were moments, but for the most part it went by fairly smoothly. Once I was out I headed right home because my boyfriend and I had dinner plans with our good friends tonight at 7pm, so I didn't have a lot of down time. Once I got home I went through the mail, took a shower and then folded the laundry from the day before.
Even though my boyfriend left work later than he should have we managed to get to dinner only about ten minutes late. We had such a wonderful time at dinner because we really like these friends. We talk the entire time we're together and it's hard to even concentrate on what to order because we're so engrossed in conversation. I had never even heard of the place we ate dinner at, but it was wonderful. This couple is always so great at suggesting restaurants and they always take us to new places. I got chicken Sorrentino and my boyfriend got seafood Fra Diavolo. When we got home it was about 10:30pm and we watched some more of "House of Cards". I am really liking the series so far, probably because I simply adore Kevin Spacey.
I'm really looking forward to my day off tomorrow mostly because I can't wait to sleep in. The Honda dealership called to tell me that the new hybrid battery, to replace the old one, has arrived in. I should have scheduled the appointment for tomorrow but I didn't because I'm not sure if I really want to take the half an hour ride to the dealership and wait for three hours. I really don't have a lot of motivation right now and am thinking I would really like a day at home by myself. I'm fairly caught up with house work so I think it might also be a nice day to catch up on some reading and give my hands a nice break. With that being said, I'll talk later!
